Making a print

The Print making process uses plants and flowers foraged from hedgerows, meadows and gardens.
I'm always out 'on the snip' - looking for interesting shape, texture, symmetry or repeating patterns. CowParsley, Ferns and Poppies are favourites.
I create relaxed, organic compositons on Indian cotton Khadi paper - it has a beautiful texture and rough edges.
The paper is coated in a photosensitive emulsion which reacts to UV, aka the Sun.
The Alchemy! The arrangement bakes in the sun. Plant, Chemistry, a few extra ingredients which I add, all react together and the print is created.
