CowParsley Print Collection

It’s often rather taken for granted: a staple of countryside verges - at times as tall as the hedgerows - with tiny flowers like white paint splattered across the vibrant greenery. It’s hard not to be swept away by the swathes of frothy, floaty, foamy CowParsley flowers - like being immersed in a plein air impressionist painting.

CowParsley is one of my favourite plants to make prints with. They have the perfect combination of textures and shapes to create interesting contrast - frothy flower heads, delicate bendy stems and pretty leaves.

I bring back to my studio armfuls of CowParsley and love spending time sorting through it to find the perfect stems to create compositions that reflect the essence of the plant in nature.

Each print is made using cotton rag Indian Khadi paper whose rough texture and deckled edges is so perfect for the natural organic style of these pieces.
